Arcadia Stables is family owned and run and all our staff members and customers are an
extension of our family. Here is a little information about the owners of Arcadia Stables
Marian Lohff - Owner
Marian purchased Arcadia Stables in February of 2007. Having grown up on a farm in
southern Arkansas she has a deep affection for farms and especially horses. It was her
dream to own a farm again and she truly believes she couldn't have gotten luckier than her
find of this gorgeous northern Oakland county property. Her goal is to make Arcadia Stables
a premier equestrian facility.

Danielle Weddle - Owner, Barn Manager, and Web Master
Danielle has been involved with horses most of her life. Danielle is a
graduate of Lake Erie College where she obtained her B.S in Equine
Facilities Management. Danielle has taken classes in equine health,
lameness, nutrition, pasture management, facilities management,
riding, and reproduction. Danielle spent the '07 spring semester
studying abroad in Ireland at the University of Limerick, where she not
only took classes in Equine Reproduction, but had the opportunity to
ride and receive lessons through Limerick's program. Danielle has
been an avid rider for numerous years. She currently shows her
eleven year old appendix quarter horse gelding, Aquarius, in jumpers
at MHJA local shows as well as at "A" shows.
Danielle has been the barn manager of Arcadia Stables since it
opened its door to boarders. Danielle also teaches to a limited
number of beginner and intermediate students
