Arcadia Stables offers two boarding services, Gold and Silver.
GOLD Full Care Service- $475/month
Includes:
Daily stall cleaning
Twice daily grain feedings, including supplements and medications, and hay thrice daily (UNLIMITED FLAKES)
Daily turnout - group and individual for at least four hours. We will also adjust your horse(s) to grass if they have not been on grass for long periods of time prior to coming to Arcadia Stables.
Will put on turnout boots and/or other turnout attire
Scrub buckets daily and bleach weekly.
Will change blankets
Vet and farrier scheduling. Will also catch and hold for these services.
We will also set up a worming schedule and worm your horse if asked
Will wrap or remove wraps
Show Grooming (if asked)
Handwalking
Five to six bags of bedding per week
Arcadia Stables offers three feed options, Buckeye Pleasure a 12% pellet, Equine Senior, and Buckeye Ultimate Finish (By owner's request)an extruded pelleted fat supplement. We feed a very good quality home-grown Timothy Mix that we get from our neighbors.
We use Dr. Don Ryker and Associates and our farrier is Aaron Engler. You are welcome to use your own farrier and vet, but we ask that you supply their information.
Arcadia Stables understands horses and is proud to offer only the best services. One service we offer to all our boarders is filling water buckets in the winter with warm water. All water in our barn is filtered and softened.
Beneath our custom installed mats is a brand new base. Your horse stands comfortably on 4 inches of blue clay and 3 inches of crushed limestone, carefully installed to insure level and drainage. We use bagged shavings, with hopes to change to pine pelleted bedding in the near future.
Boarding at Arcadia Stables also means a daily night check on all horses. Owner checks water, hay, and horse's health each night at 12 am.
Each stall is 12x12 and is equipped with a fold out blanket bar, halter hook, and light.
