As spring quickly approaches Arcadia Stables is beginning the long process of spring cleaning and getting everything ready for the warm days of summer. Before long, we will be performing pasture, trail, and property maintenance. Also, Arcadia Stables is starting an IEA team. IEA is modeled after the very popular IHSA teams hosted by numerous colleges around the country. All interested juniors in the metro Detroit area are welcome to join. More information about the Interscholastic Equest. Assoc. can be found here. as well as our Lessons page. It's a wonderful opportunity for middle school and high school riders to compete for scholarships,prizes, and to improve their riding skills in a fun way. Please contact Danielle at 248.634.5939.

Fall is here and the leaves are starting to change. Arcadia looks beautiful. As you have probably noticed we have already made many changes and updates to the barn and grounds in the last week. We will be starting work on the back large pasture and paddock #5 this week, as well as doing other numerous grounds works. Also look for a sign-up sheet on the board soon for a trail grooming day. We can use all the help we can get to make sure that the trails stay safe for everyone, we would also like to blaze some new ones.
We will also be making even more changes to the feed room. Thats right we're making it even more organized and better yet we're painting!

Also on October 10th, 2008 anyone that wants to go on a group trail ride can meet us around 4pm. It should be a lot of fun
